Samples from social media content for Dyna-Glo grills and Pleasant Hearth lifestyle products. In addition to staged photo shoots and silos, I also produced social media campaign promos and tutorial videos from concept to completion. The aim of the social media campaigns were to appeal to an age range of late 20s and up and promote a product we were highlighting that season in the form of a giveaway or holiday series.
One pain point in our sales was the issue of products being returned on account of the manual being difficult to read. Since product manuals in general are fairly regulated to look a certain way, this posed an interesting challenge for our team. We found that creating an additional tutorial video with a link to YouTube printed in the manual saw a significant decrease in product returns.
